The short version: we do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies’ advertising. Your information goes to employers only as part of an application you hired us to submit — that is the service itself, not a data business.
What we hold about you
- Your intake and resume: the facts you give us in the questionnaire — contact details, work history, target roles, pay floor, distance, exclusions, and screening answers — plus the resume you upload or we build with you.
- Your application record: every application we submit for you, with its proof, shown on your dashboard.
- Your job-search email: you create the dedicated job-search email account yourself, and you keep it. We never collect its password. Our access is the permission you grant us to read and tidy that inbox — a grant you can revoke at any time, which ends that access immediately.
- LinkedIn (only if your plan includes it): if you choose the LinkedIn build, you provide those sign-in details through our secure form only — never by email or chat — and a complete copy of your original profile is saved before anything is changed.
- Payment: your card is handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
Our commitments
- No sale of personal information — for money or for any other valuable consideration.
- No sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. In plain terms: we do not hand your information to third parties so they can advertise to you across other sites. Our own website does use advertising pixels (from Google and Meta) to measure our ads and show them to people who have visited this site — you can switch the analytics category off any time in Cookie Settings.
- Service providers only. The companies that help us operate (payment processing, hosting, the platforms we work on) receive only what they need to do their part.
- Employer sharing is your application. Application materials go to the employers and job boards inside the targets and rules you set — under your direction, and you can change those rules at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you some or all of these rights — and we honor them for every client, wherever they are located:
- Know and access — ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate information; much of your record you can also correct yourself, instantly, from your dashboard.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information, subject to the limited records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — since we neither sell personal information nor share it for advertising, there is nothing to switch off; this page is our standing notice of that.
- No discrimination — exercising any of these rights will never change your price, plan, or quality of service.
How to make a request
Email appliedforme.support@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and say what you are asking for (access, correction, or deletion) and the email address on your account. To protect your information, we may ask you to confirm the account is yours — for example, by writing from the account’s email address — before we act.
We confirm receipt within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. If a request genuinely needs more time, we may extend once by another 45 days and will tell you why before the first period ends. If we cannot honor a request, we will explain why.
Questions
Anything unclear here or in our privacy policy: appliedforme.support@gmail.com. We would rather explain than have you guess.
